The island of Rab off the coast of Croatia in the Adriatic Sea is off the radar for many American tourists despite its popularity for Central Europeans. It's definitely worth a trip by ferry from the mainland to explore its enchanting alleyways, its magnificent views, and much more. Sailing there should be on every captain's itinerary.
